things i like to do

I like to hang out with friends... i like to play soccer.... i like to go out to clubs...i like to go to parties... i like to go to the mall but only if it is to buy me stuff (i cant stand going with girls, they take way to long)... and i like sleeping on rainy days b/c im lazy.

Summer Plans

This summer I plan to chill with all of my friends. I also plan to lay out by my pool and go swimming a lot. Im not sure what im going to do about a job because my dumb parents are making me get one. hopefully ill find something really easy and that wont take up my weekend nights. I plan to be hitting up Bourbon Street and other clubs a lot on weekend nights!

Favorite Things To Do At Midnight

usually at midnight I like to be sleeping or laying in bed watching TV. If im not doing either one of those i at least like to be out with some friends at a party or a bar. I dont like to be up at twelve doing blogs but it my fault b/c i love to procrastinate.

wacked out sports!

so im sitting here watching wacked out sports on spike TV and I realize they have some crazy ass people in the world. the people in this show are so dumb that they deserve to get hurt as bad as they are. How do you decide your going to drive a dirt bike threw a brick wall and not realize your going to get hurt. and thats just one dumb idea out of the many im watching!

Favorite Class!

As fun as english was I think my most favorite class was sociology. the reason why it was my favorite is because it was a blow off class which you never had to go to and i still got an A. there wasnt ever any homework or any in class assignments. It was my most favorite because it was so easy.

Blog Posts

Blog post are very dumb!!! I do not like them and am getting very aggrivated that I cannot come up with ideas for more. that is probably why I am writing this one. I am also very tired from a long day of moving me and my g/f out the dorms. Blogs are the last thing on my mind but I have to do them.

English Class

I thought english class this semester was very fun. it was a lot different then most other English classes and kept things interesting. I really enjoyed the class and liked getting into groups to do peer editing. It help see the views of others and get some critiking.

Yup, getting an apartment!

Next year I am living in some really nice apartments in Baton Rouge. I looked for a while to find a very nice place for a good price and I finally found one. Im living with some very good friends of mine and the apartments are almost new. they are furnished with brand new, extremely nice furniture. Its going to be a huge step up from the crappy dorms I lived in this year!

Next Year / Geaux Tigers!

Next year I am transfering to LSU. I decided to transfer because I dont like it to much in hattiesburg at southern miss. Hattiesburg is a little to slow for me. Ive always wanted to go to LSU and now I am finally going to be there with all of my closest friends. I believe it is going to be a lot of fun and I think im going to like it a lot more!

Southern Miss

Southern Miss is a good school but there are many things i dont like about it. I dont like the fact that there is absolutely no place to park for students. The only spots available near any classes are toll spots and theres like 5 of them. I also dont like that fact that my girlfriend cant walk anywhere with out fear she is going to be raped. there needs to be better security and more lit up areas!

Finally Out

So I finally took my last final today at 8 am. I was definately exited to be out of school and moving out the dorms. although im not so much looking forward to living with my parents, this summer is going to be really fun. The only thing not exiting about today was moving out the dorms. It was a pain in the ass.

End Of The Semester

so yeah the end of the semester is next week and I got some of my grades back. Im doing horrible and i just got done taking my practicle for lab. It kinda sucks because im trying to get in LSU next year and dont even know if im going to have the grades for it this semester. my parents are going to kill me because they already signed my "no way out" lease for an apartment in Baton Rouge. yeah i guess you could say im srewed!

Perspectives of Hands-On Teaching

This site enforces hands on learning as a way to more quickly and accurately learn material. These are many small thoughts of some teachers around the United States who have taught for years and also believe that hands on education is the best tool for learning. Although this site refers to hands on learning in sciences it could just as well be better for any subject taught. This site is important because not only are these the thoughts of someone but the thoughts of men and women whose careers involve the teaching of children everyday. If anyone would know the best and most efficient way to teach it would be a teacher. Advantages to Online Education

In this article the author, Matt Norman, is giving good reasons why online education has its advantages. He gives reasons such as time and convenience. Many people who are adults and have started families may not be able to find time for scheduled classes or may not have a credited college nearby. It is more convenient for these individuals to take classes they desire at their own time being able to work wherever internet is provided. Only few things required in online education is a computer, internet, and motivation. This work is important because it could help someone choose whether or not they want to take online classes or attend them. It helps them choose what may be better or more convenient to them. This argument helps support my argument that talking online courses is more convenient to people who have already begun careers or families. Online Education v.s. Hands on Learning

For my paper I am deciding to write about how although I believe it is better to take classes one-on-one, online education has its advantages also. Hands on learning allows for easier use of learning materials and communication but online education can be more conveniant to certain individuals because it allows them to work anywhere and is more time efficient.

SCARY!!!

after my art class me and a friend were walking to the Commons to eat lunch when 3 guys on crotch rockets came by. one of the guys i guess was trying to show off infront of all the people outside and pulled a wheelie. when i turned and looked at him he hit a crack in the road and his bike slid out from under him and began flipping down the street. although scary when it happened he jumped up all pissed off. I then though, "wow what a dumbass"

Boring Week

Today is my girlfriends and I 10th month anniversary but since we are in classes all day and both work tonight we cant really see each other much. yeah it sux but what can you do? she is a huge brat anyway! Im working at mazzios as a deliveryboy because my parents are dumb and made me get a job. Working there is easy but its a pain in the ass having to go everyday. Easter was fun i guess even though I had to work pretty much the whole weekend. I drove into new orleans on Sunday to have lunch with my girlfriends family. This week has been very boring and I have had a lot of work do!

Fun Weekend!

So it was the first week of mardi gras and I went back home to enjoy the parades. It was a really fun weekend and anyone who hasnt been to a parade in their life really needs to go. I brought my roomate who has never been to New Orleans for mardi gras with me. I started off my weekend by hanging out with some friends I havent seen in a while. We chilled at my house, drank a few beers, and relaxed in my hottub. Saturday I woke up and went out to the parade route and set up where we would be standing that night. My friends and I threw the football around, barbequed, and drank some more. That night we watched the parade and after went to Bourbon Street. Sunday we all just relaxed due to the long weekend. Now im sick and laying in bed b/c I feel like crap.

Problems with paper...

For my paper i decided to compare Samuel and The Cathedral. I need a lot of help because i dont even know what I am comparing. I am really far behind on this paper and havent even started writing it. Im really comfused about what exactly we are trying to compare and how human interaction deals with these two stories. I look at these two stories and see nothing in common. If anyone has any suggestions on how they see the two are alike please comment. Im really stuck on this one.

My name is Brandon Burke and I am from the interesting city of New Orleans. I enjoy living there because of the amazing food and festivities. At night and on weekends I enjoy goings out with my friends to clubs or hanging out at peoples houses. I live there with my mom, dad, sister, and pet dog. I dont watch much T.V. but if I am watching it, it will be on a football game or family guy.
